The controller also allows you to create automated schedules, so that your blinds can automatically adapt to your daily routine, improving comfort and privacy while helping to reduce heat buildup in rooms.

Greater range and reliable communication

The Shelly Wave Shutter LR is based on the latest Z-Wave S800 chip and supports Z-Wave Long Range technology, which maintains a stable connection over a distance exceeding 1 kilometer in a straight line. By operating in the sub-GHz band, transmission remains resistant to interference, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging conditions. The controller offers a choice between 864 MHz for Z-Wave Long Range and 868.4 MHz for the Z-Wave Plus standard. In Z-Wave Plus mode, the indoor range can reach up to 40 meters, and the device itself also acts as a signal booster. Z-Wave Long Range, on the other hand, allows for a range of up to 80 meters indoors and communicates directly with the hub without acting as a repeater.
